Pankhudi Foundation is dedicated to the cause of Education, Life-skills and Health measures for slum and differently-abled children. It has also undertaken several campaigns for HIV awareness, adoption promotion and collection drives to meet out the needs of children.

The Pankhudi Parivaar targets the prevailing issues of children in slums. The main focus is the lack of basic education and health of the children who live in slums. They also work for visually-impaired children.

One of their future aims is to work in the area of adoption promotion.

• Aashayein – Awareness & Education of HIV/AIDS affected children

Shahzad Wakeel, an alumnus of IIT Bombay (2005) is the Founder President of Pankhudi Foundation. He is a young professional working with a leading bank in India. He strongly communicates that every individual should take out some of their time and try to help needy children in getting proper education and healthcare – thereby ensuring empowered and responsible future generations. The young workforce of this organization comprises of many IITB alumni/present students and also alumni of other IITs.
