Global conference 2007 - Santa Clara, California, US - Transforming the world through Technology
Well-known luminaries like Senator Hillary Clinton, Jeff Immelt (CEO, GE) and Arun Sarin (CEO, Vodafone) were the keynote speakers at the IIT 2007 Global alumni conference, that was held in San Clara (Bay Area, California) on 6-8 July 2007. Over 3500 attendees attended the conference The theme of the 2007 conference was 'Transforming the World through Technology". It showcased the impact of the IITs and its alumni in driving innovation, creating new enterprises, and enabling social transformation in both India and the US".
