Purnima-Gupta

This is the third book written by Purnima Gupta and a collection so Short Stories and Poetry.

In the words of Ashok Chakradhar (translated):
Directions are within us … It is a miracle that after every 3rd or 4th line, you say something like after squeezing essence of life, a few more drops roll down. Where were hiding these drops of extract of life? Couldn’t we get them without squeezing? No, you cannot get to real substance without a crush. Fearless is your pen, ‘Men are cremated after their death. Women are cremated first and they die after carrying their men on their shoulders.’

Purnima’s conscience does not allow to break down at losing one’s nest. Detachment between men and women appears to Purnima like a green problem. The prosperity works like arson on relations. She is right in saying, ‘some of our problems are like dead humans, you cannot find redemption in them. Once wings are strengthened, one can reach its destination.’ Directions are all within us.

By the time she wrote the stories and poems for her 3rd book, disapproval from her immediate family becomes her struggle.
